Here’s the short version: we collect your email if you sign up for our list, we use Google Analytics to see which articles people read, and we earn a small commission if you buy cards through our affiliate links. 1. Information We Collect
Three things, and only three things.
- Email address — collected when you subscribe via the “Join the Mythos” form. Stored and managed by Mailchimp.
- Contact form data — name, email address, and message content submitted via the Contact page. Processed by Formspree and delivered to our inbox. Not stored long-term beyond normal email retention.
- Usage data — anonymous browsing data collected via Google Analytics. No personally identifiable information is included.
2. How We Use Your Information
For the thing you gave it to us for, and nothing else.
- Email addresses are used solely to send The House of Mythos newsletter and content updates. Unsubscribe at any time.
- Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your message.
- Analytics data is used to understand which content is most useful and to improve the site.
3. Cookies & Tracking
Google Analytics sets cookies. Here’s what that means.
- This site uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect anonymous information about how visitors use the site.
- Data may include: pages visited, time on site, referring website, general geographic location (country/region only), and device/browser type.
- You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Commerce
We earn a small commission on some links. It doesn’t cost you anything extra.
- The House of Mythos participates in affiliate programs including TCGPlayer, Amazon Associates, and Card Kingdom. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
- Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial content or card recommendations.
- In compliance with FTC guidelines, affiliate relationships are disclosed in the footer of every page.

- Contact form messages are retained in our email inbox under standard email retention practices.
- Google Analytics data is retained per Google’s default settings (26 months) and is anonymous.
7. Your Rights
- You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
- You may request deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing contact@thehouseofmythos.com.
- Nevada residents: We do not sell personal information.
- California residents: You may have additional rights under the CCPA. Contact us for more information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
